AASKCON 2026 invites abstracts from delegates for the prestigious Gold Medal Sessions to be held on May 30 and 31.

VIDEO GOLD MEDAL
CONSULTANT GOLD MEDAL

PG - any postgraduate upto one year as on May 30 2026 of passing can participate.
Consultant - practising ortho after one year of post graduation as on May 30 2026.
Video - both PG and Consultants can participate.
Participants can present only their own indigenous work or work of the institution they are working in.
PG abstracts should have COUNTERSIGN BY HOD.
Plagiarism, duplication, repetition, dual submission will all result in prima facie rejection of abstracts.
A delegate can apply for more than one eligible gold medal and can send more than one abstract.
Precis - Right surgery by the right surgeon for the right lesion for the right patient.
Each oral presentation shall be of 8 minutes with 2 minutes for discussion. Strict control shall be kept on the time taken for presentations.

Single case reports shall not be considered unless the first in the world/country.
Retrospective studies may be considered only if the quality of the paper presentation is good.
Papers which are sponsored or had received financial assistance shall not be considered.
Papers shall not be eligible if published prior to the presentation/submission.
Only registered authors who are members of the Association, after having submitted their age-proof, shall present the paper.
Once an abstract is accepted, additional authors may not be added.
Whatsoever excellent the paper may be, if it crosses the eight minute deadline shall be disqualified.
A duly authenticated affidavit shall be submitted by the author regarding the stipulations contained herein (for preparation and authentication of the affidavit, professional service of the panel-lawyer, or any other professional lawyer temporarily called for the occasion, may be pressed into, whose fees in the latter case, may be fixed and settled then and there, as far as possible).
Three Judges will be selected by the President and the Secretary of K.O.A. on the day of the Conference from the available Faculty. One of the Judges so selected shall be less than 45 years of age. They shall not belong to the same Institution from which there shall be a paper or co-authored any paper in that session, and they shall not form part of the Organizing Committee of the Conference.

Each member can make only one video presentation.
The duration of each presentation shall be 5 minutes with 2 minutes for discussion.
Those not accepted for gold medal can be converted into free papers.
